Mario with Bernard MwendaThe Ngwane Teachers Training College situated in the South of the Kingdom signed up to be a part of the SKRUM Programme and have agreed to allow the SKRUM Development Coaches to Coach Rugby on a weekly part time basis at the College. Physical Education lecturer Mr. Bernard Mwenda welcomed SKRUM CEO Michael Collinson and Development Coach Mario De Sousa to the College and said he was delighted that Rugby will soon be a sport coached and played at Ngwane College.

 

CEO Michael Collinson thanked Mr. Mwenda for inviting the Swaziland Rugby Union and the SKRUM Programme to the Ngwane Teacher Training College and promised that both the Rugby Union and the SKRUM Programme will do all they can to make Rugby a great success at the College and hoped to see the College field a Rugby side of its own to play in Rugby tournaments and games in the very near future. Mr. Mwenda assured that he would do everything within his power to make Rugby grow at the College and he was sure that out of the three hundred and fifty students at the College, they could field two mens and one womens sides to play in the Rugby league.
